Hello,
I’m considering whether to book the UK or International variant for SBR. I live in the UK.
I am aware that the UK version is required to be an Audit partner or obtain a practicing certificate. I do not know what area of accountancy I will be working in in the future, and at present I have no experience of audit. I work for a firm that uses UK GAAP.
Is it worth doing the UK variant just to keep my options open for the future? How much extra work is required?
Many thanks.
About 1 day of extra study. Bear in mind that you will have to also sit AAA (UK version).
Only required for partners signing audit reports.
If in doubt recommend that you trawl through the ACCA website.
Most candidates do International.
