Dear tutor,
I am an Independent self study student and cannot help but feel I have shot myself in the foot by selecting UK version.
I selected it initially believing because I was in the UK it was to be selected, I have come to learn that this was not compulsory and that I have more to learn but resources are limited.
Can you please provide guidance on where I can find good easily digestible information regarding what is likely to come up in the UK version and how I can prepare in the little time I have left.
Your advise would be much appreciated, as I am now very worried.

Our study notes have a section with UK differences, which you need to digest.
Most of your exam will be on IFRS but one part of one question will ask you how things are different under UK accounting.
Have a look at the current syllabus UK past exams on the ACCA website to get a feeling for what sort of things are asked.
Many people turn up at the exam not even knowing they’ve entered UK – at least you have a couple of weeks to prepare it.
