Hi,
I’m planning to write SBR and SBL in September ’21. These two will be my first ACCA papers as I had exemptions. I’m planning to self-study and have purchased material from BPP.
Is there any particular method y’all recommend to studying? I don’t know how to go about this.
I would suggest you use the notes and lectures on this site as the framework for studying these subjects. Many people have passed subjects with material combined with question practice from practice and revision guides from BPP or Kaplan. Of course you could supplement with additional studying of your BPP material. Hope this helps.
Read full textbook with complete understanding besides mastering all the IAS/IFRS relevant to SBR syllabus. Then solve all the questions of at least one exam kit (BPP or Kaplan) but both are preferable. Also, try to solve at least 5 past exams under exam conditions with 3 mock exams before your Sep 2021 exam. Definitely, writing your own hand notes will aid you to remember everything far better.
