Hello Sir,
Being a Chartered Accountant student (India) I was exempted from FR exam (F7) and I have only indian accounting framework and Accounting standards (India).I want to prepare for SBR exam.
(1) So should I directly go for my SBR studies from the books ;*or*
(2) I should first complete reading FR book (which will obviously waste atleast one month) and then start to sbr preparation?
December 2, 2019 at 7:47 am #554381I assume that you are not sitting SBR until at least March.
I would recommend that you download and read the OT FR notes – it won’t cost you anything and will take about 2 weeks. All tuition materials from the major providers assume that you have a good knowledge of FR.
When you review FR notes, bear in mind that it has far more calculations than SBR so don’t spend ages on messy calculations – just review the answers. Also, don’t spend too long on EPS.
