Hello,
My attempt in passing P1 and P3 were unsuccessful (my expectations from June sitting) so I have to sit in sept to take SPL. A have study texts for both paper from Kaplan. Can I use them only to prepare to SBL or I need to buy new one?
Regards
Sorry to hear about your pessimism!
Many of the topics that are in SBL were also in P1 and P3, however, many have dropped out and there are a few new ones.
What I suggest you do is use the OT notes and lectures then go back to P1 and P3 texts if you want more information. If something is not in the OT notes, there is no need to study it again. For new topics in SBL, the notes and lectures should be enough.
However, it is very important to buy a revision kit from Kaplan or BPP so that you get lots of practice in the new exam questions.
