question 2 b(ii) of SBL sep/dec 2019 exam : “Evaluate the appropriateness of the risk responses of the operations director and the human resource director;”

In the model answer, it is stated: The impact of use of child-labour is not considered to be high, as most customers are not aware of these labour practices and are unlikely to change their buying behaviour if they did. As chocolate is a low value product for consumers, this issue is unlikely to be a major factor in the purchasing decision of most customers.
I doubt about this statement, as there should be no relation between the value of products and the purchasing decision of most customers, and also there is no reference in scenario about the relation between low-value products and purchasing decision. I think in reality if the customer knows the product involving the use of child labour, in spite of its low value, the customer may cease to buy this products.
What is your comment about this?

I agree 100% with you. Child labour is something that most consumers are likely to be very sensitive about.
