Hi,
In the preseen we see different stakeholders are listed. Wondering if there will be a question testing Mendlow’s Matrix. If so where can the volunteers be placed as stakeholders. Are they key players as they are helping the charity save costs or do we just keep them informed
And also had a query in the principal agent relationship in preseen. The donors are the principal and the trustees and the executive management are the agents right? Please let me know if that’s incorrect and which is the correct relation
Also the Members of the charity who are also the stakeholders will fall under which square please confirm that as well. Thank you
We don’t have access to the pre-seen material, so these answers are more general than you would like.
Volunteers. Depends on how reliant the charity is on its volunteers. They could be key players if vital. Otherwise they could be ‘keep informed’. I think level of interest must be high – otherwise they wouldn’t volunteer.
Principal/agent. I think that the trustees are likely to be the principals as they run the show. Donor might be agents – or they might not fit into this simple model. Remember, models simplify real life and you don’t have to squeeze everything to fit into a model.
Not sure who ‘members of the charity’ are. Volunteers, donors, employees. Again look at the information given and decide on that basis. You are very unlikely to be specifically told to use Mendelow’s Matrix. Use it as far as it ‘s useful.
Okay got it. Thank you sir for responding!
