    Hi All,

I am planning to sit the SBL exam in March 2021, and am seeking some advice on the best way to prepare for the exam – noting its differences to the other ACCA examinations…

By way of background, I usually work through all the content/theory making flash cards (using Kaplan textbooks), before I then practice past papers and exam technique.

I am wondering whether this would be the best approach for SBL noting it appears more practical than content / theory heavy? Are we still required to learn each topic/model in detail, or is it simply a case of being aware of all areas at a high level, and then more around practising how to apply these to the given case study?

Any help on the best way to approach preparing for the exam would be much appreciated!

    Thanks in advance,
    Sam

    Hi,
I am currently sitting Sbl for the December diet and my approach to studying includes using the revision kit to make notes from model answers for each topic. I find that this way helps me in answering questions quickly.
