Is it possible to complete sbl and sbr from now if I wanna give exam in dec provided I am ready to put 8 hrs a day
Hi.
There are only 2 months remaining till Dec attempt. Completing both SBR and SBL in this limited time frame is extremely difficult. Particularly SBR, as it has a huge syllabus. SBL, on the other hand, is smaller and i’d say doable in Dec attempt.
Besides, attempting both exams will put you under a lot of pressure, as the exam fees will be significant and making study plans will be difficult due to the vast difference between both exams.
However, it all depends on your efforts and determination. If you are able to put those 8 hours effectively into studying everyday, then you can do it. Good luck with your exams!
Yep, I have been studying for SBL & SBR since beginning of Sep for Dec exams (about 2 hours per day). And will probably cancel my planned SBR exam and just sit SBL.
SBR seems very technical and there seems to be a great deal to remember in terms of all the different accounting standards & their associated rules (especially equity…).I am planning to give SBR a full 3 months from January for March now (assuming I pass SBL!)
Are you guys using OT course notes or Kaplan/BPP course notes for SBR and SBL?
I’m finding it so tough going through Kaplan course notes – they are laborious. Currently going through OT course notes who condense the topics excellently then will focus on perfecting my exam technique using Kaplan revision kit.
