Hi Ken,
I’m currently studying SBL and am sitting the exam in March. After looking at the syllabus and watching your lectures i think it maybe closely related to APM, is that correct? The reason i ask is because i’m sitting APM in June and so am assessing my ability to pass these two first time as i only have 3 papers left and want to do them as quick as possible but by doing only 1 paper at a time as i have a full time job and small children. Hopefully if they are closely related the more chance i will have at succeeding. Worst case scenario if i fail the SBL exam in March and APM in June i will sit them both in September which if all goes well will then only delay me by 3 months.
PS I passed AA after studying your lectures/notes and found them very interesting with exceptional scenarios, explanations, humour etc. Once qualified i will be making a contribution to open tuition for this great service.
Thanks

There is quite a lot of overlap in the models used, the style of answer required (eg providing advice) and emphasis on application of knowledge, not reproduction of knowledge.
APM is focused on performance and its management and includes more calculations.
Your plan to attempt them in consecutive sittings is good.
Thanks for your kind words about AA.
