    sir i know this is a paper application of knowledge is very important but for that you need knowledge of models and other topic adv and dis

    DOUBT – SBL is so vast there are so many MODELS & advantage and disadvantage of lot of topics are difficult to remember them how should i remember them ?

    DOUBT 2 – what should i do should i keep revising them OR should i just move on to doing question

    There is no shortcut to remembering models. It’s a bit like remembering foreign language vocabulary. Perhaps produce some cards with the theory name on one side and a summary on the other and repeatedly test yourself.

    Really important theories/lists are: PESTEL, SWOT, 5 Forces, generic strategies, Ansoff’s matrix, marketing 7Ps, risk map and risk management, internal control. That is not to say other theories are not relevant but these provide a small number if useful ones to start on.

    However, theories make more sense and are therefore easier to remember when they are applied to question solving. So after doing some work in becoming familiar with theories quickly move on to doing questions. Sometimes you might be able to use a theory, sometimes not, but always take note of what the answer does.

    Finally, do not become obsessed with theories and models. You will never be asked to explain them. I suggest you attempt questions initially from a common sense viewpoint then, and only then, see if you can identify a theory that could enhance your answer. Apply it (or parts of it), but don’t describe it.
