Start by reading our notes and listening to the lectures. ACCA has published two practice case studies and we have another one on our web-site. However, all of those won’t provide enough practice and you need to buy a practice and revision kit from Kaplan or BPP.

After reading a couple of chapters try to find a relevant question from the revision kit and attempt it (at least by planning). Carefully analyse the answer.

    Attempting questions is essential.

The old P3 exam typically had three pages of information for Q1 then a page for each of the other two questions – that’s 5 pages of information in total that you had to deal with. I don’t think you should too worried about the fuss that ACCA is making over SBL. It’s longer than previous exams and presents information as a series of ‘exhibits’. However, at the end of the day you are still having to deal with a collection of information and respond appropriately to the question requirements – no matter how they are dressed up.
