Hi,
How much do we have to know about the Sarbanes – Oxley Act please? Do we have to know what each section within the Act states?
Thanks
No! You don’t even need to know what each ISA is titled or numbered. Sarbanes Oxley is more a matter for P1 and I really don’t believe that your examiner is going to ask about SOx.
Don’t worry about remembering ISA numbers, section numbers of Acts, IFRS numbers, IAS numbers, dates of cases, ED numbers ….in fact any numbers.
They don’t score marks and are not worth remembering
Thanks so much for your help 😀 !
You’re welcome (I just hope the P7 examiner doesn’t decide to ask about Sarbanes Oxley!)
