Sir in your lectures about sampling you said that multi stage sampling is not random
However when i checked the answer scheme for a certain mcq question it had this as the following statement in its answer
Multi-stage is a series of random samples.
Sir please explain me how this is possible
December 28, 2020 at 8:36 am #601034It is not completely random – it is quasi-random (which means partly random).
As is written in the lecture notes:
“For example, suppose a company has several thousand purchase invoices filed, filling 20 files. Take a random sample of (say) 5 files, and then a random sample of (say) 20 invoices from each of these files.”
which is exactly the same as what is written in your post!December 28, 2020 at 9:01 am #601039Okay but does that mean that cluster and quota are completely not random?
December 28, 2020 at 1:27 pm #601054This is ridiculous.
The answer to your question is very clearly written in the free lecture notes and you can not expect me to type out the notes again here.
Please stop asking so many questions like this. You have asked 12 questions today – we do not provide private tuition and I really cannot spend so much time each day just answering you.
