hello sir.
if a question provides both contri per unit and profit per unit , which shud i use to calculate sales volume planning variance?
Any exam question should make it clear which. Either from the information available (e.g. giving no information about fixed overheads) or by referring to the sales volume profit variance or sales volume contribution variance.
If the examiner ever forgot to make it clear (which is very unlikely 🙂 ) the using either (provided done correctly, obviously) would get full marks.
thank u sir
You are welcome 🙂
