    Good day Sir

While working on the Specimen exam I calculated present values to the nearest 1000 and therefore my NPV was 365000 because of the rounding off. The specimen answer had no rounding off and the answer was 366000 Also all the figures were in full rather than using the 000 heading at the top. can i get full marks on the particular question seeing that i applied the techniques well but the only difference is on rounding off

Are there any penalties for rounding off at all and using 000 heading such that on calculations i only write 1000 for 1 000 000

There are no penalties for rounding (unless obviously the question specifies a degree of rounding). I normally round to the nearest 1,000.
