Hi John,
How many decimal places are acceptable in the exam specially when working out figures in millions or thousands?
There is no rule, and it depends on the question.
When there are millions or thousands (which is usually in questions involving NPV’s) then certainly round to the nearest thousand or million. The marks are for the workings – not for the final answer – and you won’t lose marks for rounding.
Thanks so much John.
You are welcome 🙂
