Hi, I have a question about the rounding in the F5 exam. How do we know what letters we round up to? because in most of the revision kit questions it doesn’t really say 1/2 decimal place etc, because of this a lot of times my answers end up being wrong for example for one of the questions I calculated the answer to $96,244 but when I checked the answer it said it was $96,232, I calculated everything correctly the only error was my rounding during the calculations, the calculations themselves were correct. How does this work in the exam? does the question tell you what decimal points to go up to etc? Is there any leniency with the rounding errors?
Thanks!
I personally avoid rounding as far as possible until final answer has been calculated.Hope this helps.
