Hi there.
If a question states the answer should be to two decimal places is it expected that this would include rounding? For example should I round a calculator answer of 7.925 to £7.93 when answering or leave it at £7.92??
Thanks
If it is asked to two decimal places, then yes – you are expected to round to the nearest two decimal places.
So 7.924 rounds to 7.92, and 7.926 rounds to 7.93.
For 7.925 it does not matter whether you round to 7.92 or 7.93 – either would get the marks.
Ok thanks John – I’ll keep my fingers crossed it helps next week?
You are welcome, and I hope all goes well for you next week.
