    Good evening Mr. Moffat,

I have begun my exam preparation and am currently working through the BPP practice and revision kit. I just completed a question on ABC and resulted in an answer that differed from the text book answer by 2 cents due to rounding. My question is, will you loose marks for being out due to rounding, or is there scope provided for such rounding differences in the the marking scheme (providing you show clear workings).

If you would loose marks what is the accepted level of rounding (for example the rounding difference was from me rounding $0.055555555 to $0.06 whereas the text book rounded to $0.056. This then led to a further rounding difference in the markup calculation).

Thank you in advance, and thank you for your excellent lectures and superb support.

    Chris

You do not lose marks for rounding (unless, obviously, the question specifically specifies the amount of rounding needed).
The marks are always for the workings and not for the final answer.
