Hello sir . I have one confusion
In some question of Roce , when given opening and closing asset
Some question is solved using closing asset and some using average of both opening and closing and in one question they used opening asset
What’s the reason ? Which one should be used
There is a logic to all of them.
In financial accounts it is usually the closing net assets.
In Paper PM we usually use the opening figures on the basis that it the assets at the start of the year that will be generating the profits for the year (unless, obviously, the question specifies different).
