Please, explain what is the road tax? and why it doesn’t be classified as capital expenditure on the invoice for a new car?
Thank you very much,
Thao Huyen
Road tax is tax payable each year for using the car. It is payable every year and is a running expense (just like insurance, fuel, etc) and is therefore revenue expenditure and appears in the Statement of profit or loss.
Thank you very much 🙂
You are so enthusiastic to answer all our questions. I wish you have a happy and lucky new year.
Thao Huyen,
You are welcome 🙂
And all the best for the New year to you also.
