What does “strong values” means?
May 15, 2016 at 7:52 pm #315221I assume it means principles that are strongly held and acted on.
May 15, 2016 at 9:11 pm #315237thank you
Do have any example?
“Which of the following statements is true?
A Strong values improve corporate performance
B Strong values can replace rules and controls in an organisation
C Strong values minimise conflict within an organisation
D Strong values are dangerous if they filter out ‘uncomfortable’ environmental information”Actually this is the question i got on revision,so please can I have bit explanations
May 16, 2016 at 7:20 am #315257A. Strong inappropriate values could decrease performance.
B. Almost right. Strong values can support rules and controls, but will not replace them. So, many companies will work hard to instill strong values of providing great customer service. However, they would still have rules about that
C. If people hold different views strongly, conflict would increase.
D. Correct. The uncomfortable environmental information might be that a competitor’s product is better yet we believe ‘we are best’. - AuthorPosts
