rights issues are offered to everyone or just existing shareholders?
and if just existing shareholders then what happens if they refuse to accept it?This is all explained in my free lectures. You must watch the lectures – you can not expect me to type them all out here!!
They are only offered to existing shareholders. If they do not want to buy the new shares then they don’t have to (they can sell the rights to someone else and they can then buy the shares, but this is more relevant when you come to Paper F9).
