How is the NCI of Hail 42 won’t it be 36(120*30%) and same for Zian why is it 220 wouldn’t it be 198(495*40%). And while calculating retained earning for Zian how is the as per question figure calculated as 23.3 I think it should be 307/12 so it should be 25.58.I am using Bpp revision kit.Many thanks.
The original Exam paper came out the year before the examiner gave values for NCI. It was always the proportionate method back then. But all the Exam Kits have modernised their questions now and give NCI figures at ACQ.
If you do it the Proportionate way you will get slightly different answers to the questions. Either way is right. Check to see if you are told which method to use and if figures are provided.
