Hi Mike,
I have the BPP revision kit for 2015? would this suffice for Sept. 2016 or would I be best to invest in a new more up to date one?

You should be fine with a 2015 edition. Just make sure that you are up-to-date with the revised format of audit reports ISA 700, ISA 705, ISA706 and ISA 720
