Revaluations- SOCI AND SOFP Effect

Hi,

Just working through some example group statements (probably F7 level still!) i really cant remember some of the rules regarding treatment of revaluations. If you impair assets the SOFP is effected and this goes through the SOCI. IF you increase the value of a asset – maybe investment shares or PPE- i think you debit the asset to increase it but do you credit the SOCI? And if so where?
