how do you know the amounts to transfer to the revaluation reserve when there is deferred taxation on revaluation?????
Respectfully
Shamela
Take the tax rate, multiply by the amount of the revaluation and that’s the figure to transfer from Deferred Tax Account to Revaluation Reserve
The only other possibility is if the examiner says “Of the increase in the deferred tax provision, $2,800 relates to the revaluation of property” or something similar. In that situation, there no calculation to do!
Thank you for the fast reply – it is well appreciated
