    Hi John

Regret to inform you that I failed again (44 marks this time) in September although I was confident that I would pass. I’m extremely gutted considering I did put in a lot of effort whilst preparing watched your videos at least 3x and practised questions out of the revision kit. In the exam I answered I attempted all parts of the questions. can’t seem to figure out what I’m doing wrong. on the verge of giving up as I’ve got p7 too in December and I was extremely determined to finish this year but now I’m not sure what to do anymore. 🙁

I am sorry that you failed in September, but given that you were only 6 marks from passing you must obviously try again in December.

Since it would appear that you have studied enough, all I can suggest is more and more practice. If you have worked through all of the questions in your Revision Kit, then consider buying one from another approved publisher to that you have different questions to practice.
Do attempt the questions properly before looking at the printed answers and then learn afterwards from any mistakes you make.
Do not just concentrate on the calculations, but make sure you really understand what is happening.

In the exam itself make sure that you calculation workings are neat and easy for the marker to follow – the marks are for the workings and not for the final answer.

Do watch the videos that I have uploaded working through several Question 1’s from past exams, because in them I discuss the approach to the questions as well as working through the technical content.

Thank you Mike for your reply. I shall spend the next 10 days revising the videos again to refresh my memory and purchase a different revision kit to practice question to time. I hope that I will make it in December.
