The balance on the revaluation surplus will be realised profits(retained profits reserve),but this will not be reported as profit in SOPL
My question is that
retained profits reserve is included in SOPL or not and as what name?
And retained profits reserv is can be included in statement of changes in equity??
Please,explain this matter to me.
In future, if you want me to answer then you must ask in the Ask the Tutor Forum – this forum is for students to help each other.
Retained profits is a reserve in the SOFP and does not appear in the SOPL.
The statement of changes in equity shows the movement in share capital and all the reserves, including retained profits.
