    Hi,

I submitted my RAP project for Topic 8 during Period 47 (November 2023). As an ACCA member, one of the requirements is to ensure my CPD is up to date. My CPD for 2023 was indeed up to date (confirmed by ACCA later as well), but for some reason, ACCA incorrectly informed Oxford Brookes that my CPD was not completed, which led to my results being withheld. Oxford brookes reached out to me, but i read the email a bit late, which led to my submission not being considered. My fee was refunded, and the Oxford Brookes team advised me to resubmit the report in the next period. Due to job change, I couldn’t submit it in the May 2024 period, so I have decided to resubmit it for the November 2024 period.

I raised a concern to Oxford Brookes about whether I could submit the same report as last time, and the response I received from Oxford Brookes was: “The marker will know that this work has gone through Turnitin previously, and will see that the matches will be to your own ‘first’ submission. The marker will know that it is your own work if it matches to your first (albeit returned to you) submission. So don’t worry.”

    – Does this mean I can submit the same report without any issues? Honestly, I don’t want to redo the entire report, but I also do not want to risk it being rejected or failed if they consider that it has already been submitted.
    – Do I need to amend the years in the report? I originally chose the years 2020, 2021, and 2022 as the comparative year, does this mean I now have to choose 2021, 2022, and 2023 or can I submit the same report ? For the latest information pack, since I am submitting within 4 periods, i understand that i do not need to change the years. Kindly advise.
    – Is there anything additional I need to consider to ensure I don’t encounter any new issues ?
    – Lastly, how can I ensure that ACCA provides accurate academic history regarding my completed CPD to avoid this issue in the future?

    Many thanks
