Zain – yup the presentation – I’m laughing about it! Such a funny thing to fail on!!!! I’m actually quite surprised that something as minor as the font size is a reason to fail a degree paper. But no disprespect to OBU – if those are the rules, those are the rules

I failed both the RAP and SLS. I worked on Topic 6. Please can anyone who did Topic 6 be of help? i intend to resubmit in May. Thanks and a big congrats to all who passed.

Some of your slides are rather too crowded for easy accessibility by the viewer/audience. The purpose of a visual presentation is to function as a set of visual aids to GUIDE the audience through the main points of the delivery. Too much detail on each slide will detract from your presentation rather than assist it as the audience is likely to be straining to try to read what is on the slide instead of listening to what you are saying.- Topics: 0

I didnt pass after so much effort. I worked on topic 8 but comments were made on Information Analysis and Conclusion.
I was also failed for using websites like wikipedia. I would appreciate guidiance from anyone who passed with topic 8 to post thier report (RAP & PP presentation) to me for guidiance only. email is tosin4forever@yahoo.com. Hey Madiha Which company did you chose for your RAP ? I went with FFC and got an A 🙂 But yeah topic 8 is safest 🙂

It was only after I actually started doing the project that i realised i was having all sorts of problems converting currencies of its competitor Pfizer Inc, etc etc. But I am happy OBU accepted these facts and my efforts weren’t fruitless.
And congratulations for an A! You must have reallyy worked hard!… I think I would have been able to get an A myself if I had started working on the thesis earlier…B is the max i could have gotten in those 2 weeks…anyways no complains as grade wouldnt have affected my class of degree 🙂- Topics: 0

competitor in the analysis which is good however your ratios analysis are explaining the changes of the ratios only. You need to explain the reasons for
the changes of the ratios and you are advised to look at the non-financial information from the various sources and put your own analysis to get pass

@at hassan man you can’t do anything about it now.Your average marks from f4-9 determine your class of degree. Best of luck with your future exams
@mhz99 ideally 16 slides are enough for a 15 minutes presentation. try and use bullets, make use of animations, dont use dull colors, slides shouldn’t be wordy,choose a suitable font , use graphs and charts for showing figures and explain them yourself while presenting rather than writing them in the slides. Try to summarize. Dont use confusing language. Go through all kinds of ppt you can find easily on internet
