Hi guys, just sharing.
I failed at my first attempt and i’m really disappointed, however, i will pick myself up and try again 2nd time. The only thing i failed in my RAP was IT,i showed evidence of IT in appendices and not in the RAP itself. Anyone out there who will resubmit like me? Everyone seems to have passed! Well done guys!!!!

Hi Zain – I failed the SLS for the following reason:

Your presentation slides are too full and the writing is too small. A more professional looking presentation would restrict each slide to a number of bullet points which are more summarised than the current content. The font size should be a minimum of 16. You should also include more diagrams and charts to break up the writing and improve the overall look of the slides: the ratios could easily be presented graphically.
**********************I work in a very large bank and have to do lots of presentations to senior MD level management and if I wrote a presentation in size 16 font they’d look at me like I’d gone nuts! I guess I missed the part in the guidance pack that said it had to be >= 16font! Also the most bullett points I had on a page was 6 one line points. What they are describing sounds like a presentation a child writes! I guess I’m just too corporate these days!!
But no point getting hung up on it – the marker said in their comments that it is a minor change and to just resubmit so will probably do that in May. My overall grade doesn’t affect my Degree classification so nothing to lose in terms of resubmitting and it seems quite a straight forward process.

I wrote on topic 6. Pass first time with grade B… Glad to get the degree without much difficulties.
I also Cleared ALHAMDULILLAH……such a relief to get the first class honors degree…i soo not wanted to do it again!
and congratulations to all others who passed!…you deserve it
As for those who couldn’t……its ok guys…u did try your best..nd there’s always the next resubmission period! 🙂

As this was my second attempt, i got a grade C. it was all i could do. however, I will post all the notes and reference sample RAPs I used online inshallah to help those who will be resubmitting or submitting for the first time. Good luck to everyone who will do it again. and congrats to those who passed! time to celebrate!
@Rejoyce …..it was my first try and i was also reallyy scared as to what to do, because, even though the requirements were given, they were very ambiguous and subject to individual’s personal comprehensions.
For the next project, now, you do have the key point to focus..nd def use IT in ur RAP, as it is a prominent part of the RAP..use charts and tables whereever you can, especially in the analysis section.
And if its possible to resubmit if the figures arent outdated, u can just add I.T portions and resubmit!

which presentation you are talking about? power point ?@yogeeta i went for the safest topic – topic 8….and got a B….but given the circumstances i am even elated with a B as it wouldn’t have affected my grade anyways…….
