Reasons for fail and advice for improvement:
You have undertaken a good deal of work here and have shown a good understanding of the company and cement industry. It is pleasing to see some primary research that you have incorporated into your analysis. However this is graded a fail because of the poor comparison you have made with another cement company. Where you have attempted to make a comparison – this is often very cursory, in no depth and sometimes contradictory. For example, you compare (very briefly) the difference in margins between ATCPL and Fauji. Your figures show that ATCPL has a much better GP margin. Yet you state that “Most of the costs per unit sold of fauji cement are lower than ATCPL “. You go on to state that “But fuel cost, finance cost and depreciation charge is considerably high. “. This is too vague. You need to be much more detailed (and accurate) in your explanations.
3. Evaluation of information, analysis and conclusions Fail
Reasons for fail and advice for improvement:
See points above regarding the use of a comparator. This section is graded a fail because you have fallen short in your analysis of ATCPL – mainly because you have not demonstrated how well it has done in comparison with other cement companies and your chosen comparator.

You are not far off a pass standard here. If you revisit the comparison sections and perhaps utilise the external information more fully – your resubmission should succeed.

Moderator agrees with marker comments and mark awarded.i have updated my project and its ready to be submitted. but someone told me that i have to do analysis of the latest financial statements. will i have to do analysis again ?
Yes. If company has released another annual statements you need to incorporate that. See the check list on ACCA site. You passed difficult area of ref and sls
i have to provide references again and have to remove old references which were for old period
@nicedude000 sorry for late reply, no problem next session; rather if not sure about the RAP never submit it and waste one precious chance and precious GB Pounds(;-, Improve your project then submit. I wonder how you made comparison mistake, you must have excellent guidance to pass references and SLS. good luck. I will submit next term my self because this term I wasted money on a mentor who him self does not know that OB only accepts Harvard Referencing.
