The auditor has reviewed the board minutes to confirm that the decision of restructuring was made before year end then do we need to discuss with management to determine if they have started to implement the restructuring before year end?
Yes – until the decision is in the public domain, there are no accounting implications. The annual report will most likely have a note in there explaining the restructuring plans but no provision would be appropriate
