Hi sir,
Hope you’re doing well.
I was suggested by someone who recently qualified their ACCA that there are formats of the reports for the SBL exam available on the ACCA website but I was unable to find them over there in the SBL resource section.
Do you have a link to them that is working? The OT notes also do not provide formats for the various reports. The person recommended the formats provided by the ACCA itself over other ones which is why I’m so hung up on them but I would appreciate any help you can offer.
November 23, 2023 at 8:45 am #695298I have not heard about different report formats on the ACCA site. Your report needs to concentrate on addressing the requirements of the question and will be of the general shape:
Title
To/From/DatePara 1 Introduction
Para 2….x A series of numbered headed paragraphs
Last…..Conclusion/recommendation, depending on what the requirement of the questions areNovember 23, 2023 at 4:05 pm #695345Thank you for the response.
I was searching about the presentation slides just now and I came across this link. So fortunate!
Here I hope it will help everyone else:
So thankful for this.
I was also gonna ask you about when to use presentation slides. There’s guidance on it as well as to the tone and content but I need to ask if they’ll be given only when we’re required to answer in them or are they always given?

Slides have to have a small number of very short points (expanded in the notes if these are required) so there is not really much opportunity to set a ‘tone’.
