For 2014 dec exam which standard has to be applied for financial instruments? IAS 39 or IFRS 9?
October 1, 2014 at 7:49 am #202740Ias 32, IAS 39 and IFRS 9 are all examinable – if you look at the ACCA examinable documents list, you can confirm this!

Is there new notes on the new IFRS 9 for the september exam? I am self studying and wish to know what are the changes and differences…
August 25, 2015 at 10:20 am #268455My previous post said that IAS 39 was examinable – it isn’t! It’s not an examinable document for September 2015
I seem to remember updating the notes for IFRS 9 but there’s no recorded lecture on it.
There is a good article (by Tom Clendon) in “technical articles” on the P2 pages on this site
