Forums › ACCA Forums › General ACCA Forums › Repeat Strategic Business Reporting (P2) or Strategic Business Leader (SBL)?
I got my results today and I failed P2. I got 42% and I was so disappointed. I’m planning to sit my next paper in December but I need some advice please.
Should I repeat P2 now SBR or start the new Strategic Business Leader (SBL)?
The reasons why I’m asking is because the P2 format is changing and I would like to see some past parts before I start it again.
I feel SBL would be easier to pass in December
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
You should definitely retake by sitting SBR before you forget what you have learned so far. As well as TWO Specimen Exams for SBR ACCA has also published:
A new “5 minutes with the examining team” video (which actually runs to 7 mins)
A new examiner’s approach article
A technical article “Additional performance measures” (the new syllabus area)
Several new SBR exam technique articles including:
“Exam techniques for success”
“Examples of a change of approach”
Links to all these can be found at: https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/strategic-business-reporting.html
You should check these resources regularly in the lead up to your exam as new support resources become available.
