    December 2010 Q 3(b) asks In relation to he law of tort explain remoteness of damage. The ACCA answer said the leading case was The Wagon Mound. Isn’t the decision in Hadley v Baxendale the leading case for the remoteness test? If not then what is it the leading case of????

    Yes, Hadley is a case concerning remoteness of damages – but that’s remoteness in the context of CONTRACT LAW.

    the wagon Mound is specifically the leading case concerning remoteness of damages in tort!
