sir why do governments place remittance restrictions?? Is that they don’t want their currency to depreciate( supply of domestic currency will increase as foreign currency demand increases)?

That is one reason why some countries impose restrictions. Another reason is that by making the company keep the money in the country they will be more likely to use the money to expand the company which will help the economy of the country.
