Hello,
Could somebody help me confirm whether the exam date (eg: Sept 3rd 2018) is relevant to the questions within the P7/AAA exam (eg: Financial Y/e of XYZ co. is Aug 31 2018)?

Yes, for AAA, date is important. Remember to be careful about the date when u answer exam questions.
