How do I know? I am not the examiner!! 🙂

If you read our Course Notes, then it says in bold at the start of the relevant chapter, that although Regression Analysis is assumed knowledge from Paper F2, the examiner has said that you will not be asked calculations.
The most she can expect it that you understand the idea.

I would not worry too much about it 🙂

Budgeting is assumed knowledge (and there is always a question on budgeting in F5).

Basic variances are assumed knowledge – some basic variances are asked in F5, and knowledge of basic variances is essential for being able to do planning and operational variances.

Time series are assumed knowledge from F2, but as with regression analysis the examiner has said that you won’t be asked calculations.

The other area in quantitative analysis is learning curves – this was not in F2, but it is in F5 and calculations are asked.

(Our Course Notes do say all of the above in the relevant chapters – you really should read them 🙂 )
