    Please, I have registered for the ACCA Dec 2011 Exam. I mean my first time registration but ACCA sent me a mail that I was not supposed to fill Public Practice as my Industry sector. I have however wondered what I am supposed to fill since I am employed and because I am an Audit Associate/Trainee with an Accounting Firm.
    I mailed them but I have not gotten a reply on the status of my application for more than 2 weeks now.
    Each time I want to enter for exams it keeps displaying “Application awaiting further information”.
    I registered online and would like to pay for my F1-F4 exams before the early entry closing date. Please is there anyone who has experienced this before? Please advise me on what to do. Thanks.

    @kolade20010,

    it will take you eternity to wait an e-mail reply from acca, so i strongly suggest u to call them :
    +44 (0) 141 582 2000

    If u are not based in UK, you can use skype for this call, it will be much cheaper.

    yeah same thing happened with me.but now i do understand your problem.
    Application awaiting further information means that you are still not registered with acca and your application is still in process. I had the same issue as you. keep tracing your application . once it says application documents accepted instead of awaiting further information then you are fully registered and then you can apply for exam. Mine took almost six weeks to be registered with acca.
    best of luck
