    Hey sir,
I will be writing the F4 paper in about 3 weeks and wanted to know what key topics I should focus on to clear the paper.

PS- I am well aware of how I should cover the entire syllabus and questions can come from anywhere, but please understand I’m in a bit of a fix here and my hands are tied.

    Thank you so much.

Step 1 – whatever it is that is tying your hands, get some close friend to cut you free

Step 2 – what can I say? You tell me that you are well aware that the questions in the exam can come from anywhere in the syllabus. Ok – but let me emphasise that questions in the exam can come from anywhere in the syllabus … so why are you expecting any magic wand wizardry from me? Accept that your preparation needs to cover the syllabus

You make no mention of any other commitments in your life that could tear you away from exam preparation and you haven’t told me whether you are a full time student or a full time employee with limited study time available

Whatever … my only advice is that should open your revision kit (you do have a revision kit, don’t you?) arm yourelf with a pencil and a ream of paper, ask all your friends and relations to leave you alone for 3 weeks except to bring you food on a regular basis, and …

… practice answering exam type questions for hour after hour after hour

If you find that you’re getting bored, watch some videos of me talking about law or, if you can’t bring yourself to do that, read through the free course notes for a couple of hours

And then get back to answering questions

And then watch some videos of me

    Then read the course notes

    Repeat

    Sadly, there’s no easy fix-it

    Does that help?
