Hi Ken,
When doing my mocks and practice questions for this subject I have fallen into a habit of often referring to the business in the case study as ‘we’ or their business performance as ‘our performance’ for example. This habit obviously comes from my day job where I respond and advise to clients and refer to their going ons as our going ons etc. I guess I am taking the advise ‘treat the business in the case as if it were a client in work’ to heart.
I am just wondering if this is an unacceptable habit and I need to reference the business in the case study in the third person I.e. TMZ’s environment is changing because……..
It depends on your role in the scenario.
If you are a manager in the company and asked to prepare a report, then ‘we’ or ‘our company’ is appropriate.
If you are an outside consultant then ‘we’ would not be appropriate and third person is better.
