Miss,for ethical issue related to referral fees,a self-interest threat to compliance with the principles of objectivity and professional competence and due care .
A threat to objectivity is due to the fee involved but how about the professional competence and due care?why it will be breach?

Suppose a client needs a service which you cannot provide and asks for your recommendation – as a professional who owes due care to his client you should make a recommendation in your client’s best interests. You know three other professionals who will offer this service:
A1 has the best reputation;
B2 will do an adequate job;
C3 is a bit dodgy but has offered you a referral fee for every client you refer to him ….
