Referencing of Standard numbers in exam

Hello Tutor,

Please do we have to reference the standard numbers in the exams. For example, do we have to quote the standard number when answering the written aspect of the question. e.g “according to IFRS 9 on financial instrument”

I am finding it hard to remember the standard numbers though I can explain the concept.
