Referencing a point mutliple times needed in research report???

Hello,
I need some help. Do we have to reference a peice of information, again and again, if we’ve referenced it already once in the rap? E.G, ‘Company xyz’s cost of sales grew due to a massive tax imposed by the government on the raw materials (reference)’.

so if ive used this point in the gross profit margin analysis portion and want to use this inforation in the net profit margin analysis portion, do i have to again make an in-text citation of this same information everytime i use it in different parts of the research report
