Dear Sir/Madam,
Could you explain “there is requirement that companies consider a reduction of the notice period of directors to one year or less” -Chapter 2.
If the notice period is more than one year then it means that if it is wanted to sack a director then they would have to be paid for however long the notice period was. So companies should consider not having notice periods longer than a year.
