sir I could not understand threat of recruiting staff on behalf of a client.
what i have understood is if auditor recruit staffs but he is not satisfied by their performance then he could not criticize those staffs. Am i correct?
another question is, do auditor have right to recruit staffs? isn’t it the responsibility for management of audit firm instead of auditor itself?
You are correct about recruiting staff. If the auditor recommends someone as, say the finance director, and that person is useless, it’s embarrassing for the auditor who might then try to conceal the FD’s incompetence.
Yes it is up to the client to recruit staff, but they can sub-contract lots of that process eg to an employment agency.
